MGSO4 Festival has partnered with luxury handmade brand The Surrey Soap Company to offer a fantastic special edition product range of Epsom salts to support fundraising efforts. A donation of 16% will be made to festival funds for each purchase.
Maria Reeves, Assistant Festival Director said: “The name of the arts festival was inspired by the chemical formula for Epsom salts, which first made the town famous as a spa destination nearly 400 years ago, so linking up with The Surrey Soap Company is a natural partnership. The company’s directors Lisa Banks and Katie Harrison, are based locally and hand-make all of their products, using the best natural ingredients. Our organisations have a lot in common. We are both committed to high quality and want the town to be a place where artists and entrepreneurs flourish.”
Epsom salt is a mineral compound made up of magnesium and sulphate, which when absorbed through the skin, is known to have numerous health benefits. The MGSO4 Festival Bath Salts are produced locally in The Surrey Soap Company’s workshops in Tadworth and Ewell, hand blending Epsom salt and sea salt with pure essential oils and finely grated cocoa butter.
The MGSO4 range offers three scents, each with its own therapeutic properties, based on the colours of the Festival logo: MGSO4 Citrus Salts are a refreshing blend of Grapefruit, Juniper and Ylang Ylang; MGSO4 Lavender Salts are a relaxing blend of Lavender and Frankincense and MGSO4 Rose Salts are a restoring blend of Rose Geranium and Patchouli.
The Salts are available to purchase online through The Surrey Soap Company‘s on-line store: as well at festival events.
