MGSO4 Festival is looking for new trustees

In preparation for the next MGSO4 Festival in July 2018, we are looking for experienced, enthusiastic people to join our Board, the body with overall responsibility for MGSO4’s governance as a registered charity.

Sarah Dewing, who organised the very first arts festival meeting back in 2015, will be stepping down as a Chair of trustees but remain onboard as MGSO4’s Festival Ambassador. A huge thank you to Sarah, as well as Ruth Shepherd, Lucy Oulton and Paul Allsop, who contributed so much to our inaugural festival.

Our new trustees should be passionate about supporting creativity, and will be expected to give advice and support to the delivery team and festival volunteers as needed.

The Chair is the key role we want to fill but we are also open to expressions of interest from potential trustees, particularly with the following areas of expertise:

Accountant or finance director, with experience of presenting accounts, financial planning and reporting.

Arts Management
Manager/producer with experience of delivering high-quality multi-arts events, and a good understanding of evaluation.

Someone with experience of working in creative arts education and on collaborative projects.

A business leader with experience in business planning and partnership development.

Charity/Board Management
An individual with significant experience of being a trustee, a clear understanding of the responsibilities of a board and how to best enable trustees and an executive team.

We welcome and encourage applications from people of all ages and backgrounds.

Please take a look at our website and social media to find out more about what we do. The final date to submit an application is 17th November 2017.

To apply please send your CV (two pages maximum), download and complete the application form or send us a video submission of your responses.
