New chair announced for MGSO4 Epsom & Ewell Arts Charity

Eleanor McBrien MGSO4 Epsom & Ewell Arts Festival

MGSO4 Epsom & Ewell Arts is delighted to announce the appointment of Eleanor McBrien as new chair of the charity.

Eleanor is founder of marketing consultancy and business coaching practice McB, and has board level experience in creative businesses, including roles as Vice President of NBC Universal’s Global Marketing & Creative Services team, and Managing Director of the company’s UK television business. As a marketing and branding consultant, her recent clients include J. K. Rowling’s digital business Pottermore, the BBC, and The Beano. She has also committed to mentoring students at the University of the Creative Arts.

Eleanor said: “I am very pleased to be joining the MGSO4 board. I have lived in Epsom for more than 5 years, and am keen to support the development of more creative opportunities for the community. My career has always followed a split path between business and creativity that I hope will help strengthen the charity going forwards, and promote an increased profile for the arts in Epsom.”

Festival director and trustee, Maria Reeves, said: “The balance of Eleanor’s skills and experience is a real asset for MGSO4. In addition to her creative commercial roles, she has a clear personal passion for the arts, having achieved a joint degree in visual arts and marketing, where she specialised in photography and figurative painting. We are delighted that she is onboard to steer the charity through the next stage of its journey.”

Previous chair, Sarah Dewing, has an informal role as MGSO4’s festival ambassador.
