Nicholas McCarthy festival performance announced

Nicholas McCarthy MGSO4

We are thrilled that the amazing Nicholas McCarthy is going to be performing at MGSO4 Epsom & Ewell Arts Festival. Born without a right hand, Nicholas was the first left-hand-only pianist to graduate from the Royal College of Music in London in its 130-year history.

He was raised in Tadworth and has performed alongside Coldplay, presented a TED talk at the Royal Albert Hall, guest presented the BBC Proms and has just released an album, Solo, on the Warner Classics label. He has just finished a tour of Japan, and will be touring the UK in May and June – finishing off with this very special festival event.

Nicholas will be performing a dazzling range of left-hand repertoire spanning three centuries, from Chopin to Gershwin, at 7.30pm in Bourne Hall, Ewell, Surrey on Sunday 26th June 2016.
