The full programme for the 2018 MGSO4 Epsom & Ewell Arts Festival will be announced on 10th May. We have organised a range of exciting events and projects that bring something different to the activities that already happen in the borough. Our aim is to weave creativity into the lives of everyone, nurturing new talent in all areas of the arts and commissioning new work.
Festival events are only possible because of the time and professional services that local people have donated, the sponsorship of a few local businesses and generous individuals, and income from ticket sales. MGSO4 Epsom & Ewell Arts is an independent charity receiving no core funding from the local authority or any other bodies. Even with a committed group of volunteers, running a high-quality festival costs money, and professional musicians, artists and performers need to earn a living.
Independent festival events
We want as many people as possible to come to enjoy the events that the MGSO4 team have planned – every day from Monday 2nd July to Sunday 8th July.
But if you have organised your own free creative event or exhibition of work during the week of the festival, your event can be added to the community fringe page or arts trail. 8,000 copies of the programme will be printed, and we would ask you to make a small contribution towards printing, digital and publicity costs.
To have your event added to the community listings or arts trail in the printed programme and website, please complete this form by 24th April. Listings registered between 24th April- 25th June will be added to the arts trail flyer, available in all exhibiting venues.
If you have organised a ticketed event during the week of the festival, that you are ticketing independently of MGSO4, we would ask you to book an advert in the programme. To find out more download our advertising information.
