Make a note on your calendar – the first ever arts festival to be held in Epsom & Ewell will be a three-day extravaganza from 24-26th June 2016.
With performances, workshops, exhibitions and extraordinary events, the borough will be transformed into a creative hub – with something for everyone.
The name of the festival – MGSO4 – has been inspired by the remarkable history of the town. MgSO4 is the chemical formula for Epsom Salts, extracted from the healing waters that made the town famous almost 400 years ago.
MGSO4 will showcase the very best creative talent we have to offer in visual arts, music, theatre, dance and literature, and welcome back some well-known faces who moved away.
Our diverse programme will range from practical instruction in traditional art forms to outdoor shows. There will be opportunities for the whole community to get involved and make MGSO4 a celebration of imagination.
The festival is being organised by a committee of local volunteers who have set up a charity to raise funds to deliver this fantastic event. Our team is bursting with exciting ideas and a full programme will be revealed at the beginning of the year.
